While we can’t say the wait is exactly over just yet, we wanted to assure you that it is indeed coming, and very soon. We appreciate many Tacticians waiting patiently for the console version of Lost Eidolons since our PC release last October, especially when we announce that the game would come to Xbox (Series X|S) and PlayStation (PS5). Much has been going on for Ocean Drive Studio and our partners, and we’d like to bring you news on two things many of you have been waiting for! Lost Eidolons on Console ![]() However, it received mixed and average reviews in North America, mostly due to its ambitious Free Scenario System.We apologize that it took a while longer for this post than what we promised in our last update. SaGa Frontier was generally well received in Japan and has been re-released under several best-seller labels, as well as the PlayStation Store. ![]() The game features unique races, technology, and magic in each Region, providing a diverse and immersive experience for the player. SaGa Frontier's "Free Scenario System" offers a large amount of non-linear gameplay, allowing the player to freely travel between many of the Regions, interact with other characters, and take part in turn-based combat. The game takes place in a science fantasy universe called "The Regions," where the player follows the story of one of seven protagonists, each with their own storyline and goal. The game was released in Japan on July 11, 1997, and later in North America on March 25, 1998, by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is the seventh game in the SaGa series and the first to be released on PlayStation. SaGa Frontier is a role-playing game developed by Square Product Development Division 2 for PlayStation 4.
